BPP’s MSc Finance programme serves as the foundation for your future success in a wide variety of finance-related roles. It is rigorous, practically-oriented oriented and gives you the skills and knowledge to progress quickly within your chosen field of finance.
Open to graduates or professionals with backgrounds in any discipline, it is suitable for those eager to explore the use of quantitative tools in financial analysis and practice.
Through the programme you will be able to choose from one of five streams, dependent on your career aspirations:
• Behavioural Finance
• Quantitative Financial Trading
• Entrepreneurial Finance
• Corporate Finance
• Investment Management
Each stream includes specific core modules as well as a number of electives, such as Portfolio Management and Technical Analysis and Trading.
The programme is designed to prepare you fully for the Level 1 exam of the CFA® Institute, which awards an internationally recognised professional qualification for finance professionals. It also covers much of the content found in Level 2 and 3 exams.

Entry requirements:
A qualifying degree in any subject* (minimum of a lower second class honours degree**) from a recognised UK or Overseas institution.
*Due to the content of the programme, our aim is recruit students with a solid quantitative background. This may have been gained from an undergraduate degree, from Accredited Prior Learning or work experience.
**Please note that for September 2011 start dates the minimum entry criteria will increase to an upper second class honours degree
Language requirements:
International applicants whose first language is not English must demonstrate a sufficient command of English by holding an IELTS level 7 score (or equivalent).
